Hugo is an experienced senior military logistics expert from the Royal Netherlands Navy who has held leadership roles in supply chain management, operational planning, integrated business planning, human resources, facility management, project management, and concept development. He has extensive internal consultancy experience.
He has been deployed on operations all over the globe both at sea and with the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps. He has extensive international experience leading cross-cultural and multi-lingual teams with NATO and the UN in Europe, South East Asia and East Africa. He is frequently invited to share this experience with various bodies overseas.
Hugo is analytical, flexible, honest and pragmatic and will always deliver against fixed objectives. Due to his worldwide experience he is a creative thinker who brings innovative solutions to complex situations.
He holds an MA in Military Science (University of Amsterdam), the equivalent of a BSc in Maritime Business Studies (Royal Netherlands Naval College) and a post-graduate degree in Foreign Affairs (Netherlands Institute of Foreign Affairs “Clingendael”). He has also successfully completed the Advanced Warfare and Command Course in The Netherlands covering foreign affairs, business studies and operational planning.
Hugo is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK) and a qualified NLP Practitioner.
